Rosemary is a woody herb with fragrant needle-like leaves.
It is found in the Mediterranean region.
It is also a member of the mint family .
The name rosemary derives from the Latin name rosmarinus, which is from "dew" (ros) and "sea" (marinus), or "dew of the sea" because it is often found growing near the sea .
